Prince Olabiyi Poroye

Prince Biyi Olaleye Poroye is a distinguished public administrator, community development advocate, and experienced political strategist with a strong record of leadership and grassroots engagement. He currently serves as the Executive Chairman of the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC), the agency responsible for driving development initiatives across oil-producing communities in Ondo State.

Prince Poroye brings extensive experience in governance, public policy, and community relations to the Board of Memphis Microfinance Bank. Over the years, he has played significant roles in political organization, stakeholder engagement, and the promotion of socio-economic development initiatives, particularly within riverine communities in Ondo State.

Prior to his appointment at OSOPADEC, he served in strategic advisory capacities within the Ondo State Government, where he contributed to policy coordination and political engagement initiatives that strengthened relationships between government institutions and local communities.

As Chairman of the Board of Memphis Microfinance Bank, Prince Poroye provides strategic leadership and oversight aimed at strengthening the Bank’s governance framework, promoting financial inclusion, and supporting sustainable growth. His leadership supports the Bank’s mission of delivering accessible financial services that empower individuals, small businesses, and communities.

He is widely respected for his commitment to community development, youth empowerment, and institutional advancement.

Oyelade Olanrewaju H. is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in business administration, international relations, and strategic studies. Born in Ondo State, she holds a B.A. in History from Ondo State University, Ado-Ekiti, and an MA in Business Administration from the same institution. She further enhanced her academic credentials with an MSc in International Relations and Diplomacy from Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Policy and Strategic Studies at City University, Cambodia.

A member and graduate of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), Oyelade Olanrewaju H. has demonstrated strong leadership and managerial skills throughout her career. She has been serving as a Director at Memphis Microfinance Bank since 2020 and is the CEO of Laps Business Venture, a role she has held since 2016.

Her extensive experience spans multiple sectors, including telecommunications, hospitality, and event management. She previously served as the CEO of Goodluck Restaurant in Akure, Ondo State, and as the Regional Head at Time and Chance Ltd, an Airtel Franchise in Ibadan. Additionally, she held key positions at Jorgor Events Center, Oda Telecoms (O'net), and Ekimiks Nigeria Limited.

Oyelade Olanrewaju H. is also known for her excellent communication skills and team spirit. Her passion for leadership and development was evident during her tenure as President of the Odua Chapter of Junior Chamber International Nigeria (JCIN) in 2005, where she organized training and seminars. She continues to serve as a Senator in JCIN, contributing to the growth and empowerment of young professionals.

Dr. Victor Koledoye is a distinguished medical and management professional with extensive experience in both healthcare and administrative roles. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He further advanced his expertise with a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Singapore, and has completed postgraduate training in Laboratory Medicine (MWACP) and Occupational Health (Dip. Occ. Health) from institutions in Illinois, Chicago.

Currently serving as the Executive Secretary of the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC), Dr. Koledoye has a notable track record in healthcare and public administration. His diverse qualifications and professional experiences have equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of both medical and strategic management.

His role at Memphis Microfinance Bank as a director also highlights his versatility and commitment to organizational excellence. Dr. Koledoye’s blend of medical expertise and administrative acumen provides valuable insights and leadership to the board.

Ikuomola Vincent Aghone is a distinguished accountant and economist with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. Born in Ugbonla town, Ilaje Local Government of Ondo State, he has built an impressive academic portfolio, including a BSc in Accounting from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, an MSc in Economics from Lagos State University, and an MSc in Accounting from the University of Lagos. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Accounting at Adekunle Ajasin University.

A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), Ikuomola Vincent Aghone’s career has spanned various roles, starting as a Revenue Officer at the Board of Internal Revenue, Katsina, from 1991 to 1992. He then worked in several prominent organizations, including Edesiri Ubiaro & Co., Lagos, Omenac Industries Ltd., and Anochemical Cosmetics Industries. In 2001, he founded Offspring Consult and Management Services, leveraging his extensive industry experience.

From 2002 to 2006, Ikuomola Vincent Aghone served at the Ondo State Local Government Civil Service Commission, and concurrently, he was a Lecturer at Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Okitipupa Study Center. Since 2006, he has been with the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC), further contributing to the development of his home state.

With over three decades of experience in accounting, economics, and management, Ikuomola Vincent Aghone brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the board of directors at our microfinance bank.

Barr. Olugbenga Edema born in the rustic village of Ogogoro, Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State on 15th November, 1966, Olugbenga had his early primary education at the L. A. primary school, Ogogoro and Urban Community School, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.

For his secondary education, he attended Erinje Grammar School, Ode-Erinje, Ondo State between 1977 & 1978 and Doherty Memorial Grammar School, Ijero- Ekiti, Ekiti State between 1978 & 1982.

The young Gbenga then proceeded to the famous Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, where he bagged a Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Social Sciences in 1990 and served in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Programme at Gbogan/Ode-Omu Anglican Grammar School, Gbogan, Osun State.

He later proceeded to the prestigious University of Ibadan, Nigeria for his degree in Law which he successfully completed in 1999. Barrister Edema was called to the Nigerian Bar on the 3rd of July, 2001.

Olugbenga Edema is a member of many professional Organisations including the Nigerian Bar Association and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Prior to his appointment as the Chairman of OSOPADEC, he was the principal partner, Olugbenga Edema & Co., a firm of Legal Practitioners doing business in Akure, Ondo State.

Gbenga had his early stint with politics in 1998 as a member of the Peoples Solidarity Party, one of the many political associations aspiring for registration under the General Ibrahim Babangida transitional programme.

He moved to the Social Democratic Party (SDP), one of the two political parties created by the Babangida administration where he held a number of significant positions including Delegate to its National Convention before the abolition of the two parties by General Sanni Abacha in 1993.

With the return to democratic rule in 1999, Gbenga joined the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) wherein he contributed immensely to its success in the 2003 elections. Subsequently, he served as member of the Ondo State Sports Council (2005–2007) and the Ondo State Scholarships Board. He joined the Labour Party (LP) at a colourful ceremony held on 24 May 2010 in Igbokoda, Ondo State and was elected as member representing Ilaje constituency II at the State House of Assembly in 2011.

He later joined the All Progressives Congress, APC, on the 23rd of October, 2014 and he re-contested but lost re-election in 2015.

He was appointed as the Board Chairman of Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, OSOPADEC by the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and Inaugurated on the 10th of April, 2017.

She holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Banking and Finance from Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Ondo State, and an OND in Accounting from Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke. Mrs. Akinde has also earned multiple prestigious professional certifications including:

Mrs. Egbekun Victoria Bubotoruye is a highly skilled audit and compliance professional with extensive experience in financial control, regulatory compliance, and internal auditing. Her career spans both banking and corporate finance, with a strong focus on ensuring financial integrity and risk mitigation.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Ado-Ekiti and is a Certified National Accountant (CNA), a Microfinance Certified Practitioner, and a Certified Data Protection Officer.

Since joining Memphis Microfinance Bank in 2019, Mrs. Egbekun has led the Internal Audit and Compliance Unit, overseeing daily financial reviews, internal controls, reconciliation of accounts, asset protection, and regulatory reporting. She is directly responsible for ensuring compliance with both internal and external policies while providing strategic reports to the Board of Directors.

Prior to her current role, she held key finance and auditing positions at notable organizations including Iheanacho Chukwu & Co (Chartered Accountants) as Audit Supervisor, and Multiple Energy Company as Finance and Admin Executive.

Miss Ariyo Adeyinka Damilola is a dedicated finance professional with a strong background in accounting, administration, and microfinance banking. Over the years, she has built a wealth of experience across several leadership positions in the finance sector, demonstrating excellent organizational, analytical, and strategic management skills.

She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Second Class Upper) from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State, and an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Accountancy from the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti. With significant experience in microfinance banking and financial services, Mr. Johnson plays a key role in driving the Bank’s loan portfolio growth while ensuring adherence to sound credit practices and regulatory guidelines. He currently serves as the Head of Information Technology and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Memphis Microfinance Bank, where he leads the Bank’s technology strategy, IT operations, and information security framework.
